image_50654.jpg I decided to bite the bullet and pay to get the T-Bird logo digitized for the boot. Since it will be on file once I get one I might as well make use of it. So I made some visor covers and headrest covers. Marked in silver where I was thinking of putting them.

Cut out for the mirror. Not sure if I like the full cover on the visor. I might just try a center wrap like the head rest. Of course the full one does keep dirt and bus off the fabric, along with sun fade.

I will go to the storage facility tomorrow and lay a sunvisor cover and a head rest cover next to a framing square and send you pictures. Good luck with getting a logo made up, I have tried several embroidery shops and now will do either the Thunderbird logo or the script due to copyright issues. They all have said if I get a permission letter from Ford they will move forward.

I have just now seen and read your whole post. My mistake as I thought you were asking for the sizes of them and now I see you have all that information. My apologies. I really need to read everything a little better. Lol
Sorry.

Thanks for the info everybody. I was turned down by one embroidery shop for reasons of copy write infringement. But there are many more. I am waiting a quote from another place. The covers don't take very much time to make. Mostly the cost of materials and embroidery. I made 6 in about 1 hour, and I was putzing.

I received a quote for the digitizing and embroidery. Each emblem is $10 per sewing. So the embroidery is $40 per set of covers. (I thought that a little high but it is what it is)
If anybody wants a set I can make and send them for $75 per set. I would need to know what color you wanted and if you wanted the t-bird front and back or the t-bird on front and the script on back or the other way around. I will post a photo once the finished product is done. I would also need to know if you would prefer the Velcro or the J clips ( your head rests have them on them now). The Visor covers take longer for a complete cover or about the same cost for the ones that are just a wrap. I should have a picture next week. I will also be making a boot with an 18 inch T-bird. These will fold and fit similar to the factory version on the 2003-2005.Last edited by BacktotheFuturePete; Mar 27, 2019, 05:06 PM.

from shipping cost). The one in the picture was just the proto type. They will fit much better than that as I will use a smaller stitch length. I also did not sew around the mirror opening. (again just seeing how it would work.)Last edited by BacktotheFuturePete; Mar 27, 2019, 05:00 PM.
