I've done a bit of work on it. Front upper control arm, the nylon thermostat assembly, rear bearings, rear shocks, spark plug flew out and I used timesert to redo the thread, rebuld the rear caliper as the piston was seizing, replaced the stock wheels as the chrome was flaking and not sealing, replaced all of the COPS. Maybe a few more things. Really not too bad over 14 years. Still have to do the front shocks.

Congrats! I tend to get mired in the negative stuff about our Tbirds (ie parts availability). Great to read some very positive news. I love mine and may reach that milestone if it follows me into my 2nd or 3rd life!

Found the overheating / coolant loss was at the housing. I wasn't certain. I thought the thermostat was the issue and was causing it to spew out the reservoir cap. I was removing the housing and found the one bolt was just twisting the metal thread. I think that part was loose and basically it was leaking right there. So I ordered the set. Should arrive today. This will be the second time I replaced this part.

I still need to replace the front shocks haha.

First replacement was due to a crack in the housing...

Gene, if you're referring to Rick/ World Class Wheels, I saw him last month and he sold his Tbird to his neighbor.

Good Grief, our Desert Sky Blue hasn't even reached 50,000 yet, and our Merlot which is in the 48 group, is only 62,000 miles.

I'll probably break 23,000 by years end. Have 22,823 miles as of last night. Have had car 20 years as of 10-9-21.

I’m just about ready to crack 20,000. Just another 180,000 to go.
