  • Check engine light

Light came on today. I stopped by an O'Reiley auto parts and had them read codes.

I had a problem with a miss fire and replaced all the spark plugs and coils, The car has run smooth since then. It still runs great just the check engine light came on. I have 150,000 miles on the 2002 Torch Red Thunderbird and really enjoy driving with the top down. any idea would be greatly helpful. Thanks

Clear the codes, take off the fuel tank cap and inspect and reinstall and make sure it's tight. See if the light comes back on.

After looking them up, that is sure is a mixed salad of codes. Clear them to see if they come back. I had EGR code, P...something, cleared and not yet reappeared.

Thanks , I guess I will go to O'reileys tomorrow and see if they will clear all codes . I do not have a code reader.

Went and had codes cleared and check light turned off. Drove about 75 miles and filled up with fuel. No codes no light so maybe gas cap was problem that turned light on. Thanks for help. GBSB
