Long long ago and maybe far far away, someone misspelled California Duster as Suster.
Do you want a picture?
Then everyone was calling it that for a while.
Ask Porthole Authority to elaborate.

Washing my duster now. Speed wash, detergent and Downey. No bleach.
Let you all know how it turned out.
if there is a better way to wash it let me know. Or, are you supposed to throw them away?

Did mine on Speed wash. Downey and regular detergent. Looks OK.
Letting it air dry now.

The cotton fibers are coated with paraffin wax. That’s why you should always use cold water and air dry.

I see that "suster" came up again. DavidA made that finger slip in the early years here when the discussion came up on how to dust or clean without washing, one's new t-bird. Especially needed for those with black cars. DavidA has a black tbird. Need I say more. Those were the days.

We took KY-BYRD out today and visited grave sites of our fathers and their fathers to honor them and our ever expanding family. I had a great day with my lovely wife Madonna.
