So, in theory, we would have to get 400 people to join a club that actively dislikes us in order to force them to accept cars that they are vehemently opposed to which would allow us to be part of a club that is cliquish and juvenile. Makes all kinds of sense to me.

The club has existed for decades with its own unique setup, structured for aficionados of a particular genus of car. Their own description specifies '55-'57 TBirds, not simply two-seater TBirds. Why not leave them to it, rather than force them to become something else?
Start another organization catering to two-seater TBirds. You won't have to later include squarebirds, or Corvettes, or Lincoln LS's.

CTCI Initiation fee = $15.00
CTCI Yearly dues = $37.50 (probably more since some will opt for Premium packet)
New members needed = 400

400 x 52.50 = $21,000 ........ That's a nice amount of additional server space.
