I am surprised that low mileage on these old cars is such an important thing. I will admit that mine has a little over 125k and has had many, many upkeep issues but they have all been met. To my mind, all those issues are ahead for someone buying an old car with low mileage if the buyer is going to use the car. In reading over the posts it seems that my old car has had just about every problem reported. I have poured money into this old bird and it still runs and looks like new. It is used for a second car and we never take it on out of town trips. We bought it new and even with all the expensive upkeep I would still not trust it for anything other that a little used, semi retired second car. I would guess anybody who is looking for a low mileage, old car is thinking about its resale at the time of purchase, hoping it will increase in value.Comment
