It's of no concern that the TBird is not loved, I got it because I happened to like it, warts and all. On a personal level I'm not impressed with the reviewer, but I don't have to be, and can simply stop viewing it and do something else more interesting. Not a big deal, but what this and other Youtubes represent is a different matter.
As a personal observation, beyond the varying levels of histrionics about the review, there's the new -to this time period, paradigm of: "likes", "followers", "subscribers", etc., and those who would be followed. This has never happened before on this level because the technology didn't exist. This is what I might refer to as a cultural shift to a new normal. It seems to parallel a brilliant essay by Susan Sontag about why we take pictures, which appears simple until the layers of "why" complexities are revealed. If, as Newman mentions, the narrator has 3 million subscribers, there are others in myriad topic areas with more, or less. Consider the implications, the ramifications by numbers, and then it becomes a bit frightening. It is happening. We are able to observe it, and it promises to be quite the wild ride. None of us with any age -even Sci-Fi buffs, would have seen this global scale of connection actually happening. It's absolutely fascinating.Life without passion is no life at all.

note: on page 52 of my 2004 owners operator manual it does say to push the 2 screws on the header down, Doug's still not informed well thoughLast edited by hippy_mailman; Sep 6, 2019, 08:07 PM.figured I needed something here

My youngest son texted about the video. It must have come up when he was viewing youtube. There's 3800 comments already as of now on his video. He was kinda whiny for my tastes. I think the car is a blast to drive and is has very fast steering response and who cares if it's not super stiff in the suspension. I don't need that. It does fantastic on curvy roads. 280 hp in this thing will certainly be more fun than a small Miata or so. It's probably the fastest Tbird in acceleration. Only perhaps the superCoupe might be faster.

And just because you started this thread does not mean everyone's going to agree with YOUR opinion...and it seems you're having trouble with that.
