It's pretty easy to change out. The hardest part is removing the heater hoses from the valve. Just one bolt holds the valve on the fan shroud. I remove the top radiator hose, then it is fairy easy to get to it. You will need a long extension to easily reach the bolt.

there were two codes present: B1265 and B2798 any idea what they point to? besides the DCCVsigpic

I might be having the same problem. A couple of days ago my a/c was not blowing cold air. The very next day the air was frigid. Following posts about dual coolant control valve. The Motorcraft part number being referenced in the post does NOT match the part number (18495) that is in my 2005 Ford workshop manual.Walter & Francine Goodenough (www.ourmainecooncat.com)
