        Yep normal because 03-05 are electronically controlled by the Powertrain Control Module and it takes almost that amount of time for the computers to do a full increase in rpm while in Neutral or Park. Consider that the engine is under very little load so it takes its time to gather all the imput from about 15 different sensors as it begins to increase rpms.

          It was his computer with the dealers software in it. He is one of their top certified techs and is no threat to the dealer by stealing customers. The dealership is 500 miles from here and the owner new he brought it.
