My original heater valve is showing the classic temperature control problems described on this forum. While shopping for a new valve i found a bosch part number from the lincoln LS forums. From all my reading it appears that bosch was the original supplier of this valve. https://www.carid.com/bosch/hvac-hea...7-412-148.html This part lists the valve as being a proper fitment for the 2002 thunderbird. I ordered one today and will report back after i install. This part is about 80 dollars cheaper than the motorcraft listing.
