    Wow,
This was probably the plant that made the Lincoln with suicide doors used by Kennedy at the time of the assassination.

It sure was. I spent many days at that plant between 1981 and 1989.

Then you were there when they built at least my 84, 87, 89, 90 and maybe my 91 T-Birds . The 90 was a big problem with a water leak. Can I blame that on you.

Thunderbird production left Wixom after 1977 and did not come back until 2002. Your Thunderbirds were built in Lorain and yes there was a major water problem on the right side cowl area. Solved that problem during 1990 production. TSB told dealers how to prevent leak by creating a dam around the fresh air intake.

Guess my dealer never got the memo. They did give me a good deal on a tread in for a 1991.

I also spent many hours at the wixom plant during my tenure with Ford Manufacturing. My wife bought me the coffee table book about the development of the 2002+ for xmas, it was great to see all the CAD files of the components that I helped design and produce in the book. Happy new year.

Were you doing those CAD drawings in PDGS?
