Thank you for sending Joe Borrow and family to Louisiana! This video is a great example of how we appreciate all he has done for LSU. GEAUX TIGERS!! https://youtu.be/ZKJNCpBmQe0
Buckeye Mr. Burrow is a really a class act. Couldn't get off the bench at OHIO STATE. Shows you what coaches really know! So we send him your way and he wins the Heisman. Congrats. His dad coaches at Ohio University in Athens Ohio. It is the beginning area of Appalachia and truly is poverty stricken. Daughter works at a good job at OU and we visit often and are amazed at the poverty in an Ohio County. Due to Mr. Burrow's humble acceptance speech the nation ( and lots and LOTS of money from your neck of the woods ) has contributed almost $400,000 to the Athens County food bank. A gift from a plentiful country. Local Board of education has just named the football stadium "JOE BURROW STADIUM".
Also another story line is the coach Mr. Orgeron who (IMHO) got screwed after leading a west coach team to numerous victories in an otherwise dismal season as the interim coach and did not the full time job the next season.
OSU got their _ _ _ kicked the last time they played Clemson and I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is the Clemson band spelling 35-0 at halftime the next year. Want to beat them more than I can tell you.
If it comes down to OSU vs. LSU, I'm sure to root for OSU. If the Burrow/Orgeron team wins, I'm sure ok with that.
I should have added to my opening post. I would like to see a LSU vs Ohio State in the national Championship game that is being played in New Orleans at the super dome!! Also his father retired from coaching last year so he and his wife could move to Baton Rouge to watch Joe play in his last year of college ball. The rumor here is coach O has already offered Mr. Burrow a coaching job at LSU next year as it is likely we will lose our defensive coordinator to a head coaching offer.
