Bought my '05 from an estate about a month ago. Replaced the right rear wheel speed sensor and cleaned the throttle body since there were codes for those items. There was a code for the PCM failure but all codes have been cleared and have not returned the last week. Problem is that the turn signals stopped working. The flashers also don't work. When I activated the turn signals the headlight will go completely off. I have changed all the turn signal/stop light bulbs to no avail. I wonder if there is relay or flasher that may be the fault yet have been unable to find a location of either. Read somewhere that the PCM makes the flasher work. The only other issue is that my cruise control seldom works and never correctly. If hold one of the set/cancel/resume buttons sometimes it will work not often. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Codes P0606, P2104, P2110 all appeared yet I now have no fault lights appearing on the dash and no OBDII codes after repairs mentioned earlier. Thank!

repeat of above answers. If column/steering wheel controls are not working correctly, its probably the clock spring.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

I have thought the clock spring as well however, all the radio controls, horn, wipers work and there is no ABS light on. Flashers do not work. Thanks for the responses so far. I'll do more research on clock spring issues.

ABS system does not operate through the clock spring.
All push button selection on the steering wheel operate through the clock spring.
None of the selections by the multi functional switch operate through the clock spring.
PCM module isn't in these circuits, only the ABS situation gives input to the PCM. Don't misunderstand there are many many inputs to PCM.
My suggestion is replacing the clock spring as others have suggested.Last edited by steelblue5505; Dec 31, 2019, 10:57 AM.Mike
