    • Over the past few weeks we’ve been moving our thunderbirds to Oklahoma to our new home. We’ve moved from Georgia back to the town where we lived and worked. To those of you who came to the event Paul planned where we stayed at the Frank Lloyd Wright hotel, that’s the area where we live now. Phone numbers are still the same. We still plan to come to future TBN events.

      • Sharon and Ray, Good luck with your new “old” adventure in Oklahoma! Now we know why your names aren’t on the Thunderwine list for next April in Georgia. How nice for your big family to be together again “back home”! Also, give Carlos and Ann our regards and hoping that Carlos’ knee has recovered 100%. He was sure a trooper coming to Sarasota right after his operation!!!

              • Today we attended our monthly Sooner Thunderbird Car Club meeting. We held it this month a Pops in Arcadia, OK on Route 66. The gas station/restaurant/convenience store/souvenir shop has bottled soda of many flavors from all over the world.

This morning I was able to fill the bird up in my old home town of Lawton, OK at a price that will likely be envied by most folks, top tier to boot. Historically, Lawton was higher on gasoline than most cities in the state, but they've had regular unleaded under $3.00 per gallon for a month now.

                        • The weather is still nice here but winter is just around the corner, after all it is November so the bird has been put to bed. It was a great summer with lots of car shows and meeting new Tbird owners, the retro birds are becoming a vehicle of choice around here. A lot of retro's were posted for sale and seemed to sell very quickly with their new owners bring them out to shows. Looking forward to see what next summer will bring. Have a great winter and stay well.

Replaced right toe compensator rod. Two bolts, 30 minutes (mostly used to remove and replace the wheel), $40. Ready for the other side.
