Well, working at getting the stuff together to wash the Inca. thought I might do it today but here it is time for bed and still have to do it. Maybe tomorrow.

George has more energy. He's actually worked on getting the control arms replaced on the 02 - got that done on Friday but there is still something clunking in the rear so he's trying to figure that one out.

We took a fun top-down spin yesterday, drove up to Clearwater Beach, then down to the Don Cesar in St. Pete. Nice little 2 hour ride just to get out and do something besides watching tv and housework.

NotU, AGAIN! The area you live in seems to have a problem with people being unable to identify with your Bird. What is that Randy, about the forth or fifth time you have been asked what your car is.?
I think it is time to get a big sign mounted, or Decal on the hood saying its a Bird! Glad to hear you are well, it must be the HOPS doing a good job of avoiding the Bug.

At least this time I answered with, "Ford Thunderbird". That way he doesn't ask who made it.
To his credit, he knew Thunderbirds were not being built anymore.

Nothing exciting. Made a grocery run to keep the battery charged and get the fluids moving. Lifted my own spirits as a side benefit.

I spent yesterday putting those sexy bird decals on the porthole windows on the '02 (a forum member sells them).
I don't like a lot of bling but I swear - those decals look like etched glass and rock!

Removed the winter cover, battery tender, Bounce Dryer sheets from the engine area, trunk and seating area, pulled the steel wool out of the exhaust pipes, put the key in the ignition and turned it over first time. I let her run for a few minutes and shut her back down as I need to get the insurance put on before I drive her home from her winter storage place. That will hopefully be next week!

Consider a classic car policy, my 02 is on the policy with my 63 Corvette through the National Corvette Museum, 6000 miles per year allowed full "agreed upon" coverage and 100's less than GEICO

                    • Rosetta and I took a top down drive in Jewel today - a 70 mile loop through Stilwell, Cookson and Keys, Oklahoma. Stilwell is a little town east of us known as the strawberry capital of Oklahome, but more importantly it is the town we bought Jewel in 18.5 years ago. Starr Ford went out of business a few years ago. We were surprised to find the dealership buildings torn down and replaced by a brand new Casey's convenience store.

Didn't need much gas, but couldn't resist getting some $1.49 premium while we were there. As always, gas is much cheaper in the surrounding towns than it is here in Tahlequah.

While we were in Cookson on the way back home we stopped in to see Kathy and Rick. Like Steve's IY, they replaced the battery in theirs this past week as well, although it had been replaced once before. Rick has recovered much better from his stroke than could have ever been imagined. He's not 100% what he was, but given everything he's doing great.

                        • Yesterday removed the hardtop off of the WW and gave her a good washing and started a waxing. I received the BORLA exhaust system a few days ago and I have to go over to mechanic to set up an install. Kind of tempted to do it myself but I would not be working off a lift and sounds so simple BUT I don't feel like it.

                          • Hardtops were removed all over America today, or so it seems. Mine, too. Last week I finished waxing it all over, Swiffered the engine, vacuumed the interior, beat the carpets, removed the headlights & side marker lights for cleaning. Tomorrow, ArmorAll. Tuesday it goes in for its 70,000 mile service. Lemme know if I missed anything. ---Will
