Heck yeah. Tell me when and where. I needed the hitch to bring Pam’s power chair. I had the electrical wiring from the Ford Windstar but the shop said it was wrong. Need to go back when it comes in from the warehouse.

George did something good for 2020 today. He replaced the headlights in our 02! The old ones had "grown" too yellow and dim and one had some craze marks in it either from someone hitting it hard or from rocks. He found the pair on the internet at a very, very, good price $168 for the pair. They arrived yesterday and went in today. They are the 03 style but as us old timers know, they fit directly into the 02s. The only difference is the upper positioning post changed style due to the 02's post cracking and falling apart. We can probably see again on the road at night now. btw.

We had replaced the Left headlight in 2003 (under warranty), with another 02 headlight. It's post never cracked again, so that replacement part had been good for years. The right side had cracked and George had repaired it with glue years ago as by then it was out of warranty. His glue was deteriorating though.

I did notice the garage floor was very clean under Phoenix, but she was covered in dust. We do own a very expensive car cover, not sure where it is..... A guy should know that. She's going to need her whitewalls replaced soon, that's going to be expensive so we'll probably run on them for awhile. That's the best idea I have at the moment. Who needs tires when you look kewl? Besides that, she runs just fine for a guy who's not afraid to take her on a 1,000 mile road trip.

I had a growling tire/wheel noise from my front side every time I turned to the left at all speeds. It turned out to be a bad right (passenger) wheel hub so yesterday I attacked it and replaced it. Took me a little over two hours and after a test ride the growl has gone bye-bye. The PCR only has 32k on it, so I was bit surprised it had gone bad but it did and I was glad to have diagnosed it correctly with the help of internet sites.

We went to a Sooner Thunderbird Club meeting in Oklahoma City. After a nice BBQ lunch at Earl's Rib Palace with our club members, we drove on down to Lawton, OK to see my mom. We haven't been here to see her since Mother's Day.

Rosetta and I took Mom's Taurus SHO out to pick up some dinner, to make sure it was doing okay. At her last "The Works" oil change at the local Ford dealer where they bought the car, the service manager she could use a brake job. The car only has 35K on it and drives (and stops) like a new car. She told them she'd have me check it out next time I was down. The only thing wrong with that car is the crooks servicing it. Looks like they were just trying to take advantage of a 80+ year old widow.

Anyway, on the way back from picking up dinner the sun was an orange ball in a hazy sky, so when we got back, I jumped in the Tbird and drove to a spot to get a picture. By the time I took it, the sun didn't look quite as cool as it did before. Here's what I ended up with:
