Put "goldie" 050TBRD to bed last weekend, put her winter cover on today and said goodnight. Sad to say we didn't cover many miles together this year but will dream all winter of things to do next summer. Sure hope 21 is better than 20, if I remember correctly it was, when thinking about age. See you in the Spring.....................

It was actually yesterday, but was too tired to post last night.
A few members of our Sooner Thunderbird Car Club and some guests from Arkansas and Texas (many of us are TBN members including guests Bill Green, Dot and George Lang, and Dave Egan), traveled the Talimena National Scenic Byway in southern Oklahoma and Arkansas. It was a sunny day in the 60s so several of us were enjoying our tops being down. Unfortunately, the foliage was a bit of a disappointment as the bright sun washed out the colors along the way. But after the state dealt with a lot of cold rain and an ice storm earlier in the week, we were very thankful for what we got.

Traded out the Thunderbird Blue and the Nieman Marcus for the Whisper White and the Torch Red. Cleaning up two cars in one day is a lot to do especially when you have to get in all the outside plants before the frost gets them.02 Nieman Marcus-SS htp-f/sil. #165 - 21 states-DC

Since Roxy spends most of the time in the garage these days, I decided that a wash job was a waste of water, so I just cleaned the 7 spoke chrome wheels and all the windows inside and out. Used a little vinegar and water, better than Windex for that stubborn film that collects on the inside of the windshield and rear window. Apply with a sponge, and paper towell dry.sigpic
