That’s great, Ted. You might be able to find answers for others as well.

'Haven't started the 'Bird since January (OK! I've been busy).
'Took my 103 mother-in-law for a quick drive around the block. The gas gauge said
less than 1/4 full, though I'd not been anywhere in a year, so a quick run for some premium.
Clear day, warm, put on the Living Legends Sounds music CD at 3/4 volume.
Miles of smiles all around.
'Should do it more often -- pure cure for the Covid Blues.

I found these decals at a car show last year and finally found a home for them on the tonneau cover. It makes the cover stand out a little better. 1693F242-3D84-4EEA-8E10-9455B4F13276.jpegHonor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

I actually did this on Friday, I was able to reactivate my automatic door locks on the Light Ice Blue. I am not sure how I deactivated them , however, with the manual and a few tries I did get them working. BTW, I sold the LIB on Saturday to one of Ron's cousins. Three out of four of the cousins have purchased one of Ron's Thunderbirds, so happy because they are still in the family. . One is in Elizabethton, one in Kingsport,TN and one in Blowing Rock, NC.******"It's not ALL about the cars. Its about the people who drive them." --Tom Aglio

Today, I drove my TBird for the first time. I purchased it nine months ago through BAT in Canada. Took me two months to find a way to transport it here (borders were nearly closed due to the pandemic) and seven months attempting to explain to NYC-DMV that other countries follow their own rules for vehicle title and registration as opposed to those of NY.
They finally gave me a registration and a plate that I immediately put to good use, driving the Bird +/- 150 miles today. I was admittedly surprised that she was much louder on the road than my six years and 120,000 miles older Towncar. I also found her a bit hesitant, accelerating from a stop. A full “check-up” is in order
P.S.: I am still arguing / waiting to get the title!
