      • I picked up this item and added it to the trunk display as a reminder of a relatively recent event.

        1. What was the name of the event and its location?

        2. We stayed in a hotel in a National Historic Landmark building designed as on office building by FLW. What is the name of the hotel?

        3. We visited the store and restaurant of what famous Oklahoman? What town is the business located in? What is the name of the shop?

        4. We also visited the ranch of another famous Oklahoman. What's the name of the owner and the ranch?

        5. There was a vintage Phillips 66 gas station located on the ranch. Who took the opportunity for a photo op at the station? If you did, please post a picture of your car at the station.

        • Well, I didn't make that event though I wanted to. and had made plans to but had to cancel I ended up in WA state at that time due to a death in the family. But I can answer #3 Ree Drummond, of the cooking show "Pioneer Woman" store: Pioneer Woman Mercantile, Bartlesville OK (I watch her show )

I'll let others answer the rest.

The ranch is named Woolaroc, which he picked because it is also a description of it: woods, lakes, rocks.

Dot, the Pioneer Woman’s store is in Pawhuska.
The Drummond ranch and Woolaroc are both located between Bartlesville and Pawhuska.

1.) Thunder On The Prairie in Bartlesville Oklahoma. (April 2018)

2.) The Price Tower. (See photo above)

3.) Pioneer Woman Mercantile in Pawhuska Oklahoma. (See photo above)

4.) Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve outside of Bartlesville Oklahoma.

5.) Yes I did get a photo at the Vintage Phillips 66 Gas Station. (See above photo)

This was just one of many TBN events that I have been fortunate enough to attend. A great hotel to stay in and plenty to see in the area, Will Rogers Museum was one of the highlights. A great job done by the organizers.

PS: I never thought I'd see a space capsule in the middle of Oklahoma. (Sorry I didn't get a photo of that one)

                • Good replies so far. We've got most of the questions covered. Thanks to Ted for posting the pictures. I know that he wasn't the only one that took a picture at the gas station, so let's see some more of them.

Sharon, congrats on the handle of your own.

Thunder on the Prairie was not a giant event, but it was one of my favorites in a lot of ways.

And here's one of seventeen Thunderbirds, and a Corvette, looking down from my room, 12 th floor if I remember correctly. We sure dressed up that parking lot.
