    I am replacing my sand leather stick shift for a wood type from an LS and also a black leather with wood steering wheel ( I have video for the steering wheel ) info on the stick mod welcome , thanks

    Been a long time since I did mine but if I am 99% that all I did was pull the collar down and loosen the set screws and pull it upwards to remove the leather one and just the reverse to install the wood one I found on eBay by searching "LS shift knobs" many more to choose from.. Maybe I was lucky but it only took a 10 minutes or less..

    I remember reading a "how-to" on this site but did a search and struck out..

      That is exactly how to remove the shift knob.
      set screw is hidden under the collar. Collar fits tight but will slide down revealing the set screw.

        Sometimes the steering wheel is hard to remove, be sure to have excess to a puller.
