2003 Thunderbird Parts Potentially For Sale

I have a 2003 Thunderbird that is a project car. I am planning to strip out the existing interior and want to get a handle on what I can get for the parts. I also have a red hardtop to sell and a complete convertible top mechanism. This car has the black with red highlights interior Drivers seat is worn with one split. Passengers seat is decent. Door cards are good. Behind the seat trim is decent. Under hood trim pieces are okay. Brite chrome wheels will also eventually be available. I hate putting stuff on EBay but that is one option. It is likely to be three plus weeks before I can get to disassembly. I am in central NC.

I am in need of a driver's side visor in black for a 2002. The vinyl has split. Is it a sin to switch out the vinyl for cloth from 2003-5?
I also want to buy a new spare tire. The articles about them blowing up have me concerned. Thanks

I sold my 2004 PCR sometime back to try other cars. For awhile I had an SLK280. It was okay, but not as good as the Thunderbird. Less reliable, noisier and more expensive to maintain. After that I had an EcoBoost Mustang Convertible. I liked that more than my last Thunderbird. It was just as quiet, faster and much easier to get into and out of. I eventually traded it in on a Explorer ST. Between job changes and eventually retirement, I just lost touch with this group. I have a Thunderbird in sort of sad shape that I am have plans for. I don't need the interior trim and a lot of the under hood trim parts. For sure I plan to sell the hard top, convertible top mechanism, chrome wheels and other miscellaneous parts. It will be early October before I can start stripping the car, but I don't expect it to take too long to remove all the parts I want to sell.

My spare is not new, so probably not what you need. I'd be happy to sell it to you though if you want it. Maxxis was a supplier for the compact spares. They still have them. I purchased one of them ~10 years ago. Check out https://shop.maxxis.com/products/com...34092330942599

i am looking for the right and left side trunk liner pieces. When i bought my 2003 both of them were gone from the trunk. The spare tire cover remained.
