Any issues with these running hotter than the originals?

I doubt it, they are a cooler running design with lots of heat dissipation features. Unlike turn signal LEDs they don't require load resistors which can get to 200* and melt plastic parts. Halogens are prob just as hot.

        Thanks Frank!

I had heard about melting headlight housings from bulbs running too hot, keep us updated.

Here's a link to some actual driving with the LED's, although the high beam wasn't shown. Another source claimed the high beam wasn't that much different; perhaps one of the new owners of these lights can comment on this part.

Eventually I will be in the cataract group, so I was intrigued with the "Cadillac" lenses mentioned by Frank. I hadn't realized there were this many alternatives:

I just went with the no cost lens. My vision is nearly perfect with very slight correction needed. Best advice I can give is to make sure you get a top doctor.

I've had debilitating myopia (with astigmatism) and have worn glasses since age 6. The no-cost lens would require me to continue to wear glasses at age 69. The "hot ticket" now is the Panoptix Inter-ocular lens and I now have close-up, mid-range and long distance vision, best ever in my lifetime. I have no side effects that some get; e.g. no halos, "starbursts", night vision glare, etc. Life changing stuff for me...

The typical cost is $2,500/eye out-of-pocket (medicare won't cover this upgrade)...to me, to be free from glasses/contacts, its a freakin' bargain. I literally can't wait to get the second eye done..

Just ordered a set Duane. Looking forward to seeing how much brighter than my Sylvania Ultra bulbs

I just installed Nineo ll LED's in my car. The particular bulbs I chose were 32000LM and 6500K. These are very white and VERY bright. They light up the road like nothing else, BUT make sure you lower the beam just a bit to protect oncoming drivers from being blinded. It was a pretty simple process but a few additional words of caution.

1: It is much easier to remove the the headlights rather than trying to reach around to install the LED's. Just pull the 2 retainerr tabs, unscrew the one retainer nut and pull then headlights straight out.

2: If you have TYC aftermarket lights, the retainer ring might be damaged. These are not the same as the OEM headlights. Do NOT try to use them if they are missing some 'teeth' as the dust and water seal may be compromised. It took me a while, but I found replacements --- Dorman #42440

3: For proper alignment of the bulbs, make sure the cord is pointing exactly 180 deg. from the top center. The cord must be aligned at the bottom.

Thanks for the update David, I’m searching for the bulbs now but can’t find the 32000LM on Amazon.ca. I may have to cross over to Michigan to get them.

Just a follow up on my instalation of the Beamtech LED headlights I installed back in May of this year. Instalation took about 10 minutes per side making sure to line up properly per instructions . I have been pleased with the results so far. Nice range of light after realignment and way better than my Sylvania Ultras.

Good to hear, Mike. I’m still riding around with the original bulbs. LOL We need to get together sometime.
