I would certainly vote for you, Ron, if I were a member. BUT.......if you get in and it gets changed to allow the retros in, I would join CTCI immediately and I bet their membership would skyrocket with that rule change. Best of luck to a REAL Thunderbirder!

New members joining now have missed the director election. The election started yesterday and the list of voting members was pulled in advance of that. It takes time to prepare what is in effect, 8 elections due to CTCI's political structure.
They also said that there is free access to their site for the remainder of 2020.
Good luck Ron!Bill Coates-Canfield, Ohio

Good luck Ron. I joined CTCI in 2013 and thought that it was only a matter of time before they included our 02-05. As we've seen by another candidate running for Director at Large, many people are stuck doing business the old way. The building in California is an expense they no longer need. Membership has dwindled and outsourcing many duties certainly makes sense over a paid staff. Additionally, with online forums such as this and Facebook, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with other people of similar interests.
Many local CTCI chapters have folded including the one here in Las Vegas. I've been involved in running Thunderbirds of Las Vegas. I had been interesting in affiliating with CTCI but after they failed to pass the bylaw change to include the 02-05 Thunderbirds, it was a non-starter. While we welcome Thunderbirds of all years, the 02-05 owners have been the most active group of participants. So if CTCI doesn't support them, how can I? As such I did not renew my membership for 2020.
