My brother in law is down sizing and has offered to sell us his '58 hardtop at a deal no sane person would turn down. He offered to give it to us but l will not let him do that. Car is in nice shape and think it could spiff up nicely. I had a '59 Bird convertible in '60 and really like the square birds. Need someone to talk me out of this.

Consider selling the Crossfire for use as an NCIS car bomb and buy the ‘58. Other than the Retros and the original two seaters, the square birds were the most stylish, Our neighbors bought a ‘58 convertible, and I was a very jealous 12 year old. The T-Bird generations in between were boring.
Don’t pass on what sound like a great opportunity.
