Bonnie is on board for this '58. Now we have to wait for good weather period in Iowa and make inspection trip. Made scale drawing of under house parking space and there is room for the '58 in front of my daily driver Crossfire and the '04 in front of Bonnie's car.

What was the outcome of this story? Enquiring minds want to know.

We drove to Iowa. Car was in good shape visually. We asked each other the question. Do we need 4 Cars? The 58 is still there waiting for our answer

Do you need 4 cars? No, but would you like to have 4 cars? Yes. It could be a lot of fun. If it turns out to be a mistake, you can sell it. Just a thought.

I have room in my garage here in Minnesota where it would only be used 6 months a year.
Or...make a deal with him like I did on the purchase of a 1948 Pontiac: I bought it for a fixed amount but payment didn't have to be paid until I sold it, whenever that would be. I remember kidding with him that I would probably be paying one of his kids who didn't want the car. I enjoyed the appreciation after that date.

You only go around once! Get it and love the ride. My 05 has been turned away from a few "Classic Car" events because it's to new... You will not have that problem. I wish I could trip over such a deal, but alas.
