Does anyone know if it’s possible to disconnect the car alarm on our birds?
i dont have a remote and only one key so its a lottery every time i open the door if it’s going to honk (i never lock the car but i often disconnect the battery because i have problem with drained battery)
I Started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

If I'm not mistaken, any time you lock the car the alarm system is operating. Since I keep my car in a locked garage, I don't lock the car and turn on the alarm system. That could be what is draining Fredrik's battery. Am I wrong?

Yes but what i understand is that i must have one working remote to be able to program one more or is it the key that works like that

So if i just close the door it drains battery?
but if i close the door and just activate alarm without locking the car it dont drain the battery?
(I have no remote programmed for my car but i have bougt one from ebay)

Thank you i read it and i understand that my car should not drain the battery because i never lock it and never use the alarm, but if i brake the power and turn on the power (got a main switch in trunk) then the alarm goes off when i open a door if keys are not in ignition possition

I think that the technical term for your car, Fredric, is that it's haunted!

you do not need a working remote to program a new one. the Key is a different matter

The remote fob programming procedure is in the owner's manual and fobs are under $8 on Amazon.
You can even get various colors, my new ones are red to match the car's paint and to stand out among all the fobs on the shelf by the garage door.
