  • Thunderbird “Necker Knob”??

Has anyone ever found a Thunderbird logo “necker knob”, popular on cars before power steering and for “dating” when we all grew up? Would love to add one to my retro.

Make sure the dia. is correct. Steering wheels back then were smaller in dia. then modern day steering wheels.

Exactly right.....I saw many of these in the 60's working on my Dad's used car lot - many of them with "racy" girlie pics on them - commonly called "suicide knobs".
They can also give your knucles a good whack when the steering wheel returns from negotiating a turn with modern power steering.
          Pretty impractical on modern cars.
