Opinions were requested so, personally I have always loved continental kits. I had one on my '51 Ford convertible and '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser convertible and my dad had one on his '53 Lincoln Capri hardtop. All were functional with a real tire inside. Honest continental kits. The only kit I have seen for the Retro is an under scale empty fiberglass shell, too small to hold a real Thunderbird tire and lightly attached on to the trunk lid. Faking the appearance of a kit. The most negative comment I have read is that the fake look reminds them of a huge boil that needs medical attention. I tend to agree. But it's only my requested opinion

I think the Kremlin sent Mike to Siberia after exercising free speech. On a more serious note he has been working with health issues but I don't have any recent reports. Bonnie and I really enjoyed working with Mike and Evelyn on "Pikes Peak Adventure", "Blackhills Expedition" and "The Big Teasy!"
