I just had a Boss radio with rear view camera and blindspot detectors installed on my '05 T-Bird. To get the phone images up on the screen, I have to plug the phone into the android plug installed on the car. Is there any way to avoid having to do this by doing it all wireless? I saw some devices that advertise converting the plugin to wireless, but will they work on our T-Birds?

Tthe USB and Bluetooth protocols are standard so if there is
a convertor device it should work regardless of other factors...
However, if th devices don't support the bandwidth for video if that is what you want then its a problem.
Also the devices are ugly and stick out of the USB port and are prob more trouble than using a wire...

My understanding of Android Auto is it need to be plugged into the radio. As of yet, it is still not wireless or bluetooth capable.Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.
