I have noticed the last two drives in the past three weeks that we have a deep new sound kind of a drone while driving. A sound associated in gear and doesn't change much dependent on speed.. When am stopped in neutral and I rev engine the sound is not there so it's not muffler noise. When Bonnie mentioned sound it confirmed what I was hearing. Anyone have any stabs at this? I really don't think it's tire noise.

I concur, wheel bearing. I'd also look into your front end in total. Why was the alignment so far off? That is very concerning. My car has only had 1 alignment in 20 years, and that was when I re-built the front bushings.Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

Wheel bearings gone bad will have a humming groan noise, while driving if the noise increases when you turn right then the left side bearing is bad and visa versa for the other side. (This is a check for the front bearings). The best bet if they are bad also is to replace the hub instead of messing around with the bearing replacement. Hubs are not expensive.Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.
