Someone told me the 2005 Tbird came with a full-size spare in the trunk. I didn’t believe them, is this true?

No, that's not true. It's what's called a donut-spare...undersize spare meant to get you to a place where the damaged tire can be repaired/replaced.

Correct all years 02-05 had the donut spare from the factory.

And,due to age, hose original spares have been known to blow apart in the trunk, if you have one you should replace it.

And....as pointed out above, they came with a small spare, it's possible to fit a full sized spare, although it might stick up a bit. If you go this route, make certain that the rim is the correct one to fit on this car. Here is some info, use the search function, and the "Garage" to find more.
