Retirement Boredom?

I just had the idea to paint the wheels on my '05 Cashmere the same color as the car. The hubcap ring is done like this, and it looks good. Has anyone done this? If so, any pictures?

I have a set of 21 spoke that I have been thinking of getting powder coated black, might go nice with the black hard top on my red.
