A couple of things to consider if you're removing the FEM that the video might not address:
1) FIRST DISCONNECT THE BATTERY !! and move the driver's seat ALL the way back.
2) Those two decade old electrical plastic connector housings are FRAGILE - be patient and don't force anything
3) Get some DeOxIt spray and clean out the harness connectors and FEM connectors before reinstalling
4) That top post that holds the upper nut is LONG and you have to finesse the FEM off of it, again be patient.Last edited by Frank Dreano; Apr 29, 2022, 06:44 AM.

Which fuse should I be looking at? Are you saying #20 in the rear power box?Last edited by 007Cruiser; Apr 29, 2022, 08:42 PM.

For the engine fan modules
On the 2002 it's PCM and Hydraulic fan solenoid
2003-2005 it's PCM and ETC (Electronic throttle control) to accommodate drive by wire
Your test procedure is fantastic and beyond the call of duty.

So the saga continues. Today was the day to tear into this thing. Had two mechanic friends over to keep me from screwing things up. First thing we did was to check the battery. Everything was up to snuff. Then one of the guys checks the window. It works except for the drop (had stopped working altogether). He reset the window drop program and now it works! No idea why it’s now working normally. I’m going to keep using it and see what happens.

I've had quite a few FEM'S that are flaky and intermittently work or don't work. I had one where if you turned the lights off and on 10 times the cluster lights would work again.
My engineer has a theory that continuing to use a failing FEM may be why some become unrepairable.
Was the window your only issue? Could have been a dirty/corroded contact.
