I recently noted an untimely scratch in the hardtop of our PCR.. I need the paint code for the hardtop
thanks
Jan
Not sure how bad of a scratch you got, but I've had some success with a product called Scratch Doctor which helps conceal light scratches. Scratch Doctor.PNG
#1 - paint code for PCR hardtop is NOT on the driver's door.
Discussed several times here on TBN in various sub-forums which presents a problem now.
#2 - The Basecoat used was Standox Var AF01 CC; Code GRWE; Color Silver Matt (M) Metallic; Formula 82474."
#3 - 20 years have gone by and paint mixes have changed at the sources.
#4 - threads links have changed in the last few years, so #2 is the best I could come up with on a search as it was posted in 2017.
Sorry about this dumb question but is the paint code for the PCR on the door post also? some knicks needing touch ups
One thing that will help you find the correct color is that it was also called Light Tundra on other Fords and Lincoln vehicles. I would assume the color code is on the sticker like the other paint codes.

The paint code for the PCR *body* is DV = Light Tundra Metallic a.k.a. Monterey Mist. Cavear emptor: metallic finishes are notoriously difficult to touch up satisfactorily. Having said that, I got a good match here:
There are some scratch and chip kits available through Amazon. Just search "ford tundra dv" or something similar. Unfortunately, Dupli-Color doesn't seem to offer the color anymore. TouchUpDirect does (https://touchupdirect.com/touch-up-p...pf-color=29549) but I have no experience with their products. Or you could look up a local automotive paint supplier and ask them to custom mix some for you. That will be more expensive but you will probably get the best match.
