Today I brought my bird in for 50,000 mile maintenance service. To include oil and filter change, air filter changed, transmission fluid and filter change, fuel filter change, rubber fuel line to filter changed, brakes cleaned and inspected, tires rotated and balanced, wheel bearings checked. The shop also provides a documented multipoint inspection that includes a code scan. My mechanic had a chuckle when I provided all Motorcraft filters and a transmission pan gasket and explained that I am anal about using OEM parts on the bird.
Any one else believe in doing this maintenance on a schedule or do you wait for a problem?
