Has anyone heard anything lately about Fritz? We were going to meet up with him and see his wonderful die-cast collection and scenery a couple years ago in Cologne, but Karen had a bad fall the day before in Koblenz and we had to cancel.

Since he's Dutch, it's Frits with an "s". Germans spell it with a "z". He's active on Facebook. He seems to be doing well. We miss him around here, but once folks sell their retros they usually move on sooner or later.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

Maybe Fritz (Frits) wasn’t the name of the person who had a “Museum” as he called it with lots of retro die-casts depicted in various scenes, even the Wixom assembly plant. They were so life-like that you had to look twice to see it was “die-cast land”! Know for sure he lived in Cologne, Germany as we had plans made with him to meet us at the port and take us to see his museum.

Oh, you are talking about Mainhard, who's handle is 007 Germany. I was just thinking about him the other day and that it had been awhile since he has posted. He always had great photos of his 007 and MSG out and about in Germany, as well as the photos of his dioramas and cool custom diecasts, that a model builder in France did for him.
I ended up with a heavily modified retrobird diecast from that same builder.
