Yesterday watched Wheeler Dealers (British car show) refurbishing a 2002 Jaguar S Type R. 4.2 liter Supercharged version, (with 198K miles on it) which made me wonder if my 2005 AJ-35 could be refitted with the Jag Supercharger.

    per wiki..
Ford introduced the Ford SuperCharged Thunderbird concept at the 2003 Los Angeles Auto Show as a joint effort of Ford's Living Legends design studio and Ford Performance Group and featuring a modified Jaguar Supercharged V8 rated at 390 hp (291 kW). The concept featured a high-flow intake pipe, Gloss Red cam covers with carbon fiber coil covers, cam cover ‘Thunderbird’ script; carbon fiber radiator cover and integral supercharger air filters; power dome hood providing functional engine cooling; chrome trimmed surfaces on the hood's twin air extractors; revised chrome grille; larger chrome front fender intakes; revised, color-keyed rear view mirrors; revised front and rear bumpers; lowered suspension (1"); 18-inch tires on custom 16-spoke aluminum wheels; lockable two-piece hard tonneau cover; black convertible top; rear twin exhaust ports; rear backup lamps inset into the license plate housing; silver exterior paint; chamois interior. Ford sold the car to a private collector in 2010 and it was auctioned in 2014

    Probably wishful thinking.
Then I wondered what other fancy Jag S type, or LS parts would be nice on my 2005, any suggestions?. I could use some more comfortable seats and suspension for my aging body.

Ford worked on a car with the Jaguar S Type R engine until they decided not to go that route. They were having difficulty getting the electronics to communicate, so just doing a swap seems difficult if not impossible for a shade tree mechanic. The car they worked on was saved from the scrap heap and it is owned by Earl Tindol of Tindol Ford in Gastonia, NC. It runs, but is not street legal. Several TBN members have seen the car.

I think if you had a complete donor Jag, and you swapped all the computers and fittings and hardware, an experienced hot rodder could probably pull this off. I've seen many cars over the years with the impossible engine combinations. As Paul pointed out it might be helpful if you live in a state without inspection.
Doubtful you would wanna pay someone by the hour. So you would have to be able to do this type of work and have a garage yourself.
        Just my humble opinion.

I remember seeing it at Maggie Valley and it would probably be just as difficult as trying to electrify the Thunderbird using a Tesla electric motor and battery pack. There is a company that will electrify almost anything and they do buy Tesla parts to do it. I bought a 2015 S85D and if I want to go faster it serves that purpose.
