It may not have been mentioned in that video but I will say that TBN was a topic of discussion on many occasions throughout the event, and my I add all comments I heard were nothing but good. Arrived home Monday at 3PM. Spent Sunday night in Ashville arriving there around 7PM after driving through a heavy rainstorm in the GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS. It was a good reunion and hope everyone made it home safe. Until we cruise again.

With all due respect, that, of course, is just the opinion of the person who created that "award" to celebrate their own accomplishment. Perhaps the real highest "award" should be a plaque given out that reads "Event Organizer". They are the ones who truly helped keep TBN great.
Anything that happens on TBN is usually created by an individual or a very small group with a vision. The by-in is what makes it important. FWIW, the 48 Dash Plaque was not developed until there were multiple cars/people that had accomplished the task. To date, only 17 cars have claimed the award.
I agree the events have been the heart and soul of TBN. However, if an award plaque was given for planning an event, a few of us would be out of wall space.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !
