  • 1963 Thunderbird Italian Show Car

    This clip is actually about show cars, and the Thunderbird happens to be in it, but it's still an interesting look back to see how designers were thinking. There's a bit about the Thunderbird in the beginning, but most of it starts at about 15:40. I think that with regard to the era, the Thunderbird looked pretty cool. Enjoy.

          So interesting! I seem to recall one of those Futureliners went through Mecum or Barrett-Jackson a couple years ago.

              Next time I'm in California I have to visit the Blackhawk Museum. Went to the Peterson in 2019 and it was worthwhile. They have a Vault in the basement where many cars are kept so they can periodically change the main exhibit. While there we checked the vault out too.
