2 1/4" White Walls

I found some Diamond Back 235/55R17XL 2 1/4" white walls for a little over $200 a tire. But will the XL fit our T-Birds? Or is it a deal breaker? I have a 2005 Cashmere. Does anyone know if these will fit?

I ran that size Diamond Back with no problems on my 03.

Tire size is the same . XL means a higher load capacity than the standard size tire .
