Can anybody advise me on disabling the key-in-ignition chime? I would like the chime completely gone. I don't need it. I don't want it.
Today the dealership told me it would require removing the instrument cluster. According to YouTube videos, on F-150s from the early 2000s, it's accomplished by pulling a one-wire harness out of the ignition switch, which is in the column on these vehicles.
Surely there's an easy way on the Thunderbird to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.
