At this moment, George is in Louisiana at a car dealership putting a red hardtop on our Inca Gold.
As has been mentioned in the past, a local friend of ours purchased a red 02 last fall. Thru circumstances beyond her control (much more on that at a later date); she had to get another red hard top for her car. George finally spotted one on the internet a couple of days ago and called and made arrangements to pick up the hardtop for her. but the hardtop is in Louisiana. So... he left very very early this morning and got to the dealership around noon time. Made the purchase and had them help him get the top on our Inca Gold. I hope he's taking pics which I probably won't see until tomorrow. I suspect his plan is to take the hardtop straight to it's new owner. if not, then I'll get pics here before he moves it on to her car.
so Brad (Bob), it is in our hands right now. Not sure how much he ended up paying for it but it was not to be passed up on. She was getting desparate to have a hardtop on the car in this kind of heat. (I tried to tell her that the softtop would handle the heat ok.)
