I’m trying something different with leather hat patches. I would like critiquing from the group both good and bad. Your comments help me progress.

Thanks for the input Richard. I had tried to go with more of the car but I really wanted the script to go with it. Keeping the size for a hat patch required a little give and take to get both the car and the script. I’ve done a couple of just the car, just the wing and just the script. I’ll keep working on them all and the sizing too, I’ve done a wing and script at about 7” to possibly add to a satchel, tote bag and purse so I’ll se how they turn out.

Thanks Bob. I do like that one and will see what I can do with it. I had one similar up but thought it might be out of proportion for the hat patches. When I return from Dearborn I’ll play with that one if you don’t mind me copying it.

I ripped it off the internet with the artist's name plastered all over it. I don't know if it's copyrighted or not, but a consideration.

I am not a ball cap wearer, but I love a design project.
I think you have a good concept.
Trimming the size of the car image and simplifying it could allow for a larger Thunderbird name/logo.
I poked at it a bit.
One other idea would be to change the image to be with a hardtop on, showing the porthole. Kind of a unique T-Bird feature.
Have fun with it, and keep up the good work.
