I am not a ball cap wearer, but I love a design project.
I think you have a good concept.
Trimming the size of the car image and simplifying it could allow for a larger Thunderbird name/logo.
I poked at it a bit.
One other idea would be to change the image to be with a hardtop on, showing the porthole. Kind of a unique T-Bird feature.
Have fun with it, and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the input John. I’m liking all the options and think I will be able to use a larger proportion for luggage bags, satchels and duffle bags.
