  • 2004 PCR Bird sold at Hagerty Auction

I am not sure if Dot and Issy are still tracking the PCR Birds. I saw on the Facebook site where PCR #221 was sold at auction for $18,995.00. The car has 28K miles and was listed in excellent condition. All stock, located in Tennessee. The seller's facebook ID is "Goodman". No information on the new owner.

Pictures (and they showed a lot of them) showed a cloth top that was nasty. IT definitely looked like it needed replacement, so I can imagine what the rest of the car looked like even though it was garaged.
Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

I wonder what these cars are selling for these days other than at auction. I am considering letting go of mine this year and will ask in the $22k to $24k range when I do.

I think you’re in the ballpark. I bought mine planning to leave it to my daughter. I think she’ll get it in a few years. No need to have her wait. I want to see her enjoy it.

I had the same idea when I bought my bird six years ago. I had planned to keep it one year and give it to my then 15 year old granddaughter when she got her license. Surprise!! She did get her license the following year, but did not want the T-Bird. She had learned to drive in grandma's Rav4 and liked it better. So we bought her a new Rav4 Hybrid four years ago and I still have the Bird.

My daughter loves the car but something breaks every time she drives it!

You can identify as whatever you like. Just be aware that this car is not red. I suppose you could have a repaint.

It gets worse. My other grandchild,16 year old grandson, is now driving. He too is passing on my beloved PCR Bird and has his eyes on my 2018 Tacoma pickup. In his defense, at 6'2" and 210lb he is already a tight fit in the bird and still growing!

Billy, we have 12 grandchildren so cars would get very expensive.

A question for Dot, was the PCR available for purchase in Canada? I have recently been told it was not and that just didn’t make sense to me. Your comments please.

As far as I know, it was available in Canada.
The only limited edition that wasn't was the Neiman Marcus.

                            That would be Saul Goodman.

Thanks for the reply Dot. I was pretty sure it was but then while at the reunion in Dearborn I was told that it was never available in Canada. I did know of a couple that had one and was sure they bought it from the dealer news.
