  • Help identifying these black sponge blocks

    When I inheritied the 2002 Tbird, these black sponge sheet blocks (2.5" x 3' x .25") were in the glove box. (See attached picture below). After 8 years now, never understood what they are for and ready to throw out. Does anyone know if intended for Tbird? Thanks

          A few years ago I purchased my bird from my dad. He could not longer drive. I've found a few things that I have yet to identify. I keep a little bag in the trunk for these types of finds.

            There are similar tabs that are glued to the bottom of the hardtop shelf where it comes into contact with the top of the speaker grills

                Not sure if they were on all years. I removed them from a hardtop thinking that they were only there for shipping but after removing I wasn't so sure
