Within a few hundred miles of replacing the 2002 Tbird transmission, getting P0153 nd P0155 02 sensor (slow to respond) codes. I just can not believe both upstream left and right sensors can go bad at the same time. Highly improbable. The local mechanic (not Ford) mentioned that there is a PCM update that addresses these types of simultaneous fault codes.
Has anyone heard of this PCM update? Is it a general update that takes care of many issues or just one update pertinent to 02 sensors? I am in no mans land for Ford dealerships and feel like I need to know the solution before I go to the Ford mechanic.
