A recent cruise with Sooner Thunderbird Car Club on Route 66 in western Oklahoma included this stop at the newly rebuilt Pony Bridge across the Canadian River. To retain the look of the original the yellow side beams were reused, but aren't integral to the structure of the bridge. Yes, Torch Red won the day.

Took the car to our new Legion Branch 25 for a cold beer and visit. They just completed this building which is apartments for veterans, also has a bar, convenience store, outdoor patio, horseshoe pits, underground parking and a banquet hall. I have to say it’s an impressive building and veterans are ore on the top of the list for renting the apartments.
And it was a warm day for Northern Ontario.Comment
