Lost my 'windscreen' on the LA trip to a truck rock. Safelite did the repair with the first 2 guys saying they couldn't fix it the car was too nice. After haggling they sent another truck with a more experienced man. With a discount for making me wait hours $227 total. I think they lost $$ on that job.

Your insurance should have covered t for ZERO $$$. Grundy insurance covers the glass as well as the whole car with no deductible.

The insurance company ' Corvette Museum ' paid me $400 and actual final cost was $227, so I made out very well. (Safelite lost $$, had to ) There are no more OEM logo windshields available. Stewart Weir got the last one in 2013 I believe.Comment
