  • Tail Lights Problem

Taillight signal blinkers do not blink or light when key is on or car is running or when brake is applied. No light at all with taillights..rear is totally dead. . But Rear Deck brake light works when brake is applied .
    Any help will be appreciated.

Do the license plate lights work?
Are fuses #3 and #7 ok in the rear power distribution box in the trunk?

This might not help, but, a few years ago my cabin temperature control unit stopped working. I took the fuses for it out and they looked OK, so I put them back in and it worked again. Point being, as Robert, above, says, check the fuses he mentions. Even if they look good maybe you will get lucky just reinstalling them like I did. Unlikely, but an easy quick thing to try.

Problem solved. If one taillight is blown there will be no brake lights, rear turn signals or emergency flashers but the brake light on the rear deck behind the rear window will continue to function.
